Power within the hour
October 1st 2010 Colten Care Group, which has
residential homes in Wiltshire, Dorset
and Hampshire, has entered into a
contract with power support
company, Powercall UK. The
business now can be assured that it
will be able to fulfil its duty of care to
residents by having a standby
generator in situ and connected up
within an hour thanks to Powercall
UK's nationwide service.
"Powercall UK is the only
company to provide such as service",
said Colten Care's John Carter. "We
initially trialled the service at our
Kingfishers residential home in New
Milton and within minutes of calling
Powercall, a generator was on its way
and was delivered within one hour."
Each of Colten Care's homes is
fitted with a connection point so that
in the event of a power cut Powercall's
nationwide service can despatch
a generator from a local depot, with a
target of one hour delivery and a
