Mobile unit has first outing

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

All Health Matters has taken its new mobile screening unit on its first outing. The unit with the apt number plate L999 AHM visited The Oak & Rope Company  in Bridge, Canterbury for their annual health check.

According to the company, the meeting was a great success and will be the first of many offered to support various industries across Kent.

The unit is fully equipped with modern medical equipment, and includes a sound proof booth for hearing tests, fridge for vaccines and toilet for drug and alcohol tests. By taking the clinic to site, it will help lessen the impact of worker downtime – a very important factor when working on time sensitive projects, or when onsite facilities are unsuitable.

As All Health Matters are also accredited providers to the construction industry, the company is convinced this new facility will be welcomed by contractors and sub-contractors required to provide fitness for work certificates.
