Sack handling can be fraught with finding a reliable solution. A new range of grippers from Piab are aimed specifically at solving the problem.
The Kenos KSG Sack Gripper is suitable for handling sacks with different shapes, materials and weights and the integrated, and modular vacuum generation, makes the system highly flexible and efficient. The unit can also be supplied to work with a side channel blower if the environment conditions require it.
The full Kenos gripper range from Piab uses their proprietary and energy efficient multi-stage vacuum ejection technology (COAX) in combination with specially developed, high quality suction pads/foam (FDA approved foam available). They are able to satisfy the needs of industrial sectors such as glass, food, packaging and electronics as well as assisting with the handling of practical applications like stone/marble, wood and metal sheets.
