Probiotic cleaners for FM industry
Genesis Biosciences has launched a range of probiotic cleaners for the facilities management industry with Evogen Professional.
Evogen Professional is a range of biological cleaning products developed specifically for the facilities management sector, by combining specific strains of Bacillus and advanced environmentally responsible chemistry.
By creating unique probiotic formulas for application-specific cleaning challenges, the Evogen Professional range is claimed to deliver unprecedented levels of cleaning efficacy in comparison with current market products.
Unlike chemical or enzymatic cleaners, which offer short-term cleaning benefits according to Genesis, the application-specific Bacillus strains found in Evogen Professional help to build an active biofilm on the application surface prolonging cleaning efficacy, as the beneficial bacteria continue to break down soiling after application.
This is said to significantly reduce the frequency of cleaning and the labour costs of having to re-apply the cleaning products. Minimising the use of chemical products also carries the benefit of preserving asset value, and reduces the impact of facility damage from harsh chemical cleaners.
