Working at height training

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

Falls from height are one of the biggest causes of workplace fatalities and major injuries, accounting for an average of 40 fatal injuries per year (28 per cent of the total) and of these, just under half were in the construction sector.

Employers and those in control of any work at height activity must make sure the work is properly planned, supervised and carried out safely.

MRS Training & Rescue is a nationwide (ISO 9001:2000 approved) Health & Safety training provider, offering first class facilities to deliver a range of key height related training courses for people who are engaged in this safety critical work.

Until now, these courses were only available at their training centre in Scotland, but the company has invested in additional training facilities at five other centres across the UK and has also developed an additional suite of courses suitable for all industries.
