New platforms

2010 has seen a number of new
product launches from Italian aerial
work equipment manufacturer, CTE.

The Traccess 170 E tracked
platform is powered by a lithium
battery for quiet, fume-free
operation. Requiring a stabilisation
area of just 2.8m, the machine has a
17m work height, with an arm radius
of 7.5m.

The ZED 20 CH articulated
truck-mounted platform features
vertical stabilisation with connecting
rods, which enables the release of the
beam and therefore the stabiliser in a
single movement, without the help
of jacks and cylinders. The unit can
reach a working height of 20m with
an outreach of 9.2m.
