DEKRA has now been recognised by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as a Designated Foreign Testing Agency (DFTA).

DEKRA has now been recognised by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as a Designated Foreign Testing Agency (DFTA).

This means the testing company can enable manufacturers of explosionproof products and suppliers to processing industries with TIIS certification to achieve a swifter entry into the Japanese market. The Japanese Technology Institution for Industrial Safety (TIIS) is the national testing and certification body which verifies that products used in their processing industry conform to Japanese health and safety regulations.

Approval of a product used to take up to ten months, but Japanese DEKRA experts can now accelerate the process considerably. In addition, the TIIS certification fees can now be reduced by up to 3000 Euros.
