Suffolk-based Nexen has designed its
latest X-Range of counterbalanced
forklift trucks with health and safety
considerations taking as much priority
as reliability and performance.

All models have a spacious, fully
floating and vibration isolated driver’s
cell with adjustable suspension seat
and steering column. In addition, a
strong overhead guard, fully isolated
from the chassis, is said to ensure
maximum protection, while driver
fatigue is minimised thanks partly to
low noise levels.

The Optimal version of the XRange
features DPS, a driver presence
sensing system, which automatically
locks off all hydraulic functions and
drive to the transmission if the
operator leaves his seat.
