pendants, if a member of staff has a

Depending on the model, the
EchoStream pendants can be worn
on a necklace, belt clip, wristband,
or mounted in a fixed location.

Water-resistant models are also
available. All the units run on longlife
3V lithium batteries. They can
be supplied as single-button units
or double-button versions, where
both have to be pushed to
minimise false alarms.

The smallest and lightest in the
range, the EE1223S, weighs less
than 40g and comes with a neck
cord and belt clip. It has a simple,
single-button, ‘one-second press
and hold’ alarm, making it suitable
for use as a personal alarm, as well
as in assisted living situations.
