Bulk bag unloader

Flexicon Europe
has introduced a
bulk bag unloader,
engineered for the
rapid release of
material from
single-trip bulk
transfer bags.

It allows material
to flow into the hopper which is
attached to an integral flexible screw
conveyor for transfer at any angle to
downstream processing, storage or
packaging equipment. It also allows
bulk bag discharge to take place in
areas of low headroom, relying on the
user’s forklift or plant hoist to lower
single-use bulk bags onto a fourbladed
bag piercing knife.

Flexicon has also introduced a
dust plenum which consists of a
hollow hopper rim with interior slots
and exterior ports vented to a plant
dust collection system. The unloader
helps companies with restricted
headroom to increase the speed and
efficiency in which material can be
released into a downstream process.
