Five star audit

Knauf Drywall has had its
performance in health and safety
recognised with a Five Star Audit
award from the British Safety
Council (BSC) for two of its sites.

The BSC’s Five Star Audit is a
recognised benchmark of best
practice that is said to go beyond
legal compliance and is used by
organisations throughout the world.

The programme is now being
applied across the group globally,
with a view to the development of a
single international Knauf Standard.

The BSC’s audit identifies areas of
strength and weakness and also
supports a programme of
improvement for the future.

The company will also seek to be
re-audited every two years.
