New appointment

Mark Baird has been appointed as
sales and marketing manager at
Bilco UK/Europe.

Mark brings 25 years experience
in sales and management, including
14 years in construction-related
roles.

He joins from Construction Skills,
where he worked with the National
Construction College in developing
and managing a sales function at the
college.

Previously Mark was with
Finnforest, an engineered wood
products manufacturer, as marketing
controller.

Earlier in his career, Mark had
spells at Berol (part of the US Newell
Corporation) where he managed
regional sales teams, with the Express
Foods Group as product group
manager and at Safeway which he
joined after graduating with honours
in Marketing and Administration.
