with BPF Distributors and
Pumps, Reid was able to
assess the technical brief
and ensure that its Porta-
Davit 500 (PD-500) could
be customised to meet the
required safety, lifting and
access requirements.

Easy to transport and
stow, with rapid assembly,
the PD-500 was adapted
for Northern Ireland
Water to provide a
‘Personnel Restraint
Anchor Point’, with
the manufacture
and supply of
the 80+ units
(plus electric
hoists and
waterproof
covers)
within just a
few weeks.
