Recent figures published by the
Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
confirm Britain is one of the safest
places to work in Europe.

Occupational injuries decreased
from 26,268 in 2009/10 to 24,726
in 2010/11. However the
importance of risk assessment,
relevant training and developing
good working practices should
never be ignored.

British Safety Services (BSS)
offers a service designed to help
companies identify and minimise
unsafe practices. Properly managed
health and safety not only prevents
work-related injuries, deaths and
illness, it also makes good business
sense by saving companies money.
