TÜV SÜD Product Service has
launched an ATEX Safety Service to
help component and machinery
manufacturers ensure that their
equipment complies with European
Directive ATEX 95 – 94/9/EC.

The service will also support e

help component and machinery
manufacturers ensure that their
equipment complies with European
Directive ATEX 95 – 94/9/EC.

The service will also support endusers
of machinery which operate a
processing facility in a potentially
explosive environment. They are
required to comply with ATEX 137 –
99/92/EC (ATEX Workplace
Directive) to reduce the risk to their
workers in the explosive atmosphere.

The service includes:
Quality audits – of facilities owned
by component/machinery
manufacturers
Site safety engineering reviews – for
end-product manufacturers who
operate potentially explosive
processing plants
Regulatory advice – to help
machinery and end-product
manufacturers ensure comply with
country-specific regulations
