Diverse handling

Polymer specialist Rehau has turned
to Yale, and its authorised dealer Yale
CZ, to manage its complete materials
handling operation requirements in
the Czech Republic.

Rehau’s 9000m2 facility in Cestlice
includes indoor and outdoor storage
areas products ranging from small,
expensive components to large
window profiles up to 6.5m in length
as well as large plastic tubes in
various lengths and dimensions.

The solution was a fleet of four,
five tonne lifting capacity Yale
Veracity VAX forklift trucks fitted
with double pallet handling
attachments to allow multiple pallets
to be moved simultaneously. The
introduction of the new fleet has
already had a significant effect on the
logistics operation on the site,
increasing operator efficiency and
productivity.
