Windows 8,
X2 Computing has
launched the X2
Sapphire, a new tablet
computer that can be
quickly and easily
integrated into corporate
networks and will run all commonly
used business applications out of the
box without the expense of
rewriting existing applications. With
a slim form factor, X2 Sapphire is
specifically designed for business
use, making it ideal for enterprise-
wide deployments. It will be fully
supported for five years and deliver
a low total cost of ownership.

X2 Sapphire is powered by an
Intel Atom N2600 1.6GHz
processor with 2GB
DDR3 SDRAM and
16GB SSD storage
giving up to 6 hours
operation
between
recharging. It
is IP54 rated
and has a 9.7″
widescreen capacitive
touchscreen with a fingerprint
resistant oleophobic coating. The
integrated graphics processor
delivers high quality images at up to
1024 x 768 resolution in either
