Leeds City Council has chosen a
Youngman BoSS X3XSP
self-propelled micro
access platform for use at
its new Corporate
Records Management
Facility, which has the
capacity to house 30,500
document boxes on a 6-
high racking system.

To place and retrieve
the boxes from the top
three levels safely and efficiently, the
Council chose the Youngman scissor
lift due to its ultra compact
dimensions and ability to easily lift
an operator plus four boxes, each
weighing up to 12kg, helped by the
use of a 0.4m long platform
extension.

Supplied by Access
Platforms Sales of
Huntingdon, the BoSS
X3X-SP has a safe working
load of 150kg and an overall
width of just 0.76m, making
it easy to be driven and
precisely manoeuvred by
the operator even at its full
working height of 5.14m.
