Fume extraction order

Flextraction has received an order in
excess of £100,000 to supply, deliver
and install fume extraction equipment
to Coleg Gwent’s new £33.5m ‘state of
the art’ Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone
in Ebbw Vale.

This order, which also includes
training in the use of the equipment
for the college’s teachers and
instructors, covers equipment for use
in woodworking, brickwork,
plasterwork and plumbing training
facilities.
The equipment provided in the
woodworking training facility, for
example, comprises a high vacuum
extraction system with connection
points for a fixed extraction system to
woodworking equipment made up of
6 x extraction hoods, 4 x floor
mounted stanchions, 1 x sweep up
box and 3 x rear capture systems, all
with abrasion proof hoses and airflow
indicators.
