UK operations director

Harsco Infrastructure has
appointed John Simpson as UK
operations director for its
construction division. It follows the
promotion of John Hynes to UK
managing
director in
June.

Simpson
joins Harsco
after a
successful
period as UK
operations
director with
industrial
services
specialist
Interserve. He brings over 18 years
experience in industrial and
construction access, managing
contracts for many global
construction, engineering and
petrochemical companies.

In 2007 he led SGS to the
National Gold Award for Health
and Safety and the Environment,
the first time the award had been
made to a ‘high risk’ subcontractor.
