Symposium covers respiratory mask cleaning

50th annual SAFE Association
symposium in Reno, Nevada,
addressing an audience of military
safety experts on
the benefits of using
Byotrol to improve
the quality and
safety of aviator
respiratory masks.

Unlike traditional
technologies which
cease to work when
they dry, Byotrol is said to continue
to work, killing 99.9% germs for up
to 24 hours without degrading the
surfaces it touches.

“Byotrol’s powerful action is vital
in this application, but of greater
importance is Byotrol’s gentleness
on these expensive and sensitive
pieces of equipment,” Falder said.

“Historically, cleaning has damaged
the respiratory masks, putting
personnel at high risk of infection
as damaged masks are a breeding
ground for microbes. Byotrol is able
to clean without degrading the
equipment, improving compliance
and ensuring safer working
conditions for aviators.”
