‘Green’ absorbents

With EVO Pads FENTEX is helping
industry to become more
sustainable. EVO absorbents are
made in the UK from recycled
cotton – a natural, sustainable
product – and with 169.3g CO2, the
pads are said to have the UK’s lowest
carbon footprint.

The new EVO pads can be used
in all sectors of industry to absorb
hydraulic oil, engine oil, gear oil,
lubricating oil, coolant, fuels and
mild acids. According to FENTEX
the EVO Pads out-perform
polypropylene absorbents. It said:
“The pads have a higher capacity and
greater fluid retention, so they
absorb more oil and hold onto it
when being recovered, thus avoiding
the messy dripping and
contamination associated with
polypropylene absorbents.

“EVO absorbents are more costeffective,
easier and cleaner to use
and priced lower than their
polypropylene counterparts.”
