UV Light Technology has
announced the 2013 dates for its
specialist training course ‘Risk
management of UV light exposure in
the workplace’. ‘The Control of
Artificial Optical Radiation at Work
Regulations 2010’ impose legal duties
on employers to protect workers who
may be at risk from artificial UV light
exposure. The one day training
course is designed to help employers
to meet their legal obligations for the
safe use of UV light and build
confidence and acceptance of safe
working practices by the workforce.

Delegates are given a practical
insight into risk assessment and
control of personal UV light
exposure from artificial sources in
the workplace. Course dates for 2013
are: 7th March, 6th June, 5th
September and 28th November; and
take place in Birmingham from 9am
to 4.30pm.
