IIRSM, new level of membership

The International Institute of Risk
and Safety Management (IIRSM)
launched its Specialist Fellow
(SFIIRSM) level of membership in
the Specialist Stream at the recent
Health and Safety ’10 event at
Sandown Park.

The first recipient Dr Tim
Marsh, received his membership
from IIRSM Deputy Chairman
Geoff Lloyd, during an afternoon
tea event, for his efforts to raise the
profile of health and safety through
his book Affective Safety
Management (ASM).

A charitable company set up to
advance standards in accident
prevention and occupational
health, IIRSM membership is open
to all individuals qualified in health
and safety, or a related discipline,
actively involved in work place
health and safety, or those who
simply have an interest in it.
