owners, landlords,
employers and
head teachers are
responsible for fire
safety; with a duty
to ensure that all
fire doors have the
correct hardware
fitted and are
properly maintained.

frame, vision panels, intumescent
seals and essential ironmongery.”
These all ensure that the door leaf
stays closed within its frame in a fire
emergency, and should be CE
marked with third party
certification.
