SealSkinz has developed its DUTY range of close-fitting, waterproof, windproof and breathable socks and dexterous gloves to meet the requirements of the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at Work Regulations 2002.
The range, which incorporates SealSkinz’ patented three layer membrane construction to keep you dry, warm and safe, includes Waterproof Gripper Gloves, Cut Resistant Gloves and Flame Retardant Gloves, which combine waterproofness with cut proof and flame-retardant elements.
Products have undergone stringent testing at the independent SATRA testing laboratories and achieved: Resistance to water penetration to EN374:2; Resistance to weak chemicals and microorganisms (bacteria) to EN374:2; Resistance to abrasion, cut, tear and puncture to EN388; and Resistance to thermal risks to EN407.
