Helping 200,000 drink drivers

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

The organisation which helped pioneer the scheme to rehabilitate convicted drink drivers, has passed a 20 year milestone of educating offenders.

The TTC Group, a leading provider of the drink drive education scheme, educates more than 250,000 motorists each year including drink drivers and motorists who are caught speeding and commit minor motoring offences.

A new approval to continue providing the drink drive rehabilitation course nationally for the next seven years was granted to TTC Group by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA).

TTC Group MD Jenny Wynn said that over the past two decades they had educated 200,000 drink drivers.  “So many people who have gone on the course over the years have said how good the information on the course was and how it had helped them not to re-offend,” she added.
