Safety commitment recognised
GNB Industrial Power (UK), a Division of Exide Technologies, has been awarded accreditation from ‘safecontractor’ for its commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety practices throughout its Service organisation.
GNB Industrial Power offers an extensive range of energy storage products and services including solutions for telecommunication systems, railway applications, solar energy, uninterrupted power supply, forklifts and electric vehicles.
GNB’s application for safecontractor accreditation was driven by the requirement for a uniform standard across the business. Andy Sheppard, GNB UK service manager explains the importance of the accreditation: “GNB has always had a strong commitment to upholding the highest Health and Safety standards in the industry. Gaining an independent safecontractor accreditation is testimony to our dedication, and provides peace of mind for our clients”.
