Check at a glance

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

Have you ever tried to find anything in your first aid kit? More often than not, you meet a jumble of similar looking packages and it’s hard to find what you’re looking for. Or, supplies have been used up and no one has replenished them.

New regulations for work-place first aid kits (BS 8599-1) specify exactly what should be in each kit and put responsibility on the employer to ensure that their kits are always kept fully stocked.

Checkroll first aid kits have separate, transparent compartments for each item so you can see at a glance what they contain. Each compartment has a label specifying what, and how many should be there. This helps you find what you need instantly, saving vital seconds in an emergency. Kits are supplied in a durable zipped bag and come in  small, medium and large sizes, specified by the BSI.
