Doosan Babcock, based in Renfrew, Scotland has achieved a successful B2 audit in Achilles UVDB Verify – an independent assessment of the performance of contractors working on sites owned or controlled by UK utility companies.

The audit confirms that Doosan Babcock has demonstrated compliance with a range of health, safety, environmental and quality requirements. The rigorous audit process included an evaluation of Doosan Babcock’s management systems, followed by an audit of the practical implementation of these systems at a current working site. The working site audit is annual, while the management system evaluation takes place every two years.

“Passing this audit with flying colours demonstrates Doosan Babcock’s effective application of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management systems and a commitment to maintaining a positive safety culture for our contractor activities,” said the company’s principal health, safety and environmental leader Peter Lennon.
