Seminar focuses on FFI

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

In response to the introduction of the HSE’s ‘Fees For Intervention’ (FFI) initiative, the Food Storage & Distribution Federation has developed a programme of speakers to present at the October Technical & Safety Committee (TASC) Seminar to help delegates understand what the HSE inspectors are looking for to ensure they comply.

Aimed primarily at Health and Safety and Quality Managers working in the food and drinks logistics supply chain, a range of industry experts will be presenting including Josephine O’Shea from the HSE and Dr Steve Thorpe from HSL. There will also be a food safety and risks presentation from DEFRA, an announcement about a new partnership from the FSDF chief executive and a talk on the HSE’s legionella inspection programme.
The event takes place on 16th October at the National Centre for Deafblindness, Peterborough, PE7 8FD. To book see: www.fsdf.org.uk/events or contact [email protected]
