Video monitoring system
Video specialist NW Systems has installed its Health & Safety monitoring system for BAM Nuttall Highway Services’ new depot and offices in Cheshire.
Seven network cameras have been placed throughout the road maintenance depot and road sign factory to monitor production and ensure that health and safety procedures are followed. Cameras have also been deployed on impact protection vehicles to record teams putting out road signs to direct vehicles around upcoming road works. Managers can also view site activity via their smart phones or tablets, around the clock.
BAM Nuttall’s Steve Gee said: “We use visual aids like this to improve training and thus minimise accidents at work.”
