Anti-static flexible conduits
Flexicon has launched two new anti-static, liquid tight conduit systems, to further enhance its range of cable protection solutions.
The LTPAS and LTPPUAS flexible conduits can be used to avoid electrostatic charge build-up on installed equipment, including the surface of the conduit. This issue is particularly prevalent when working in hazardous areas.
Both systems comply with clause 7.4.2 of EN600079-0, which refers to the avoidance of a build-up of electrostatic charge on Group I or Group II electrical equipment. Available with nominal sizes from 16mm up to 63mm, these products are compatible with all liquid tight fittings from Flexicon, including the new EXD flameproof barrier glands.
