Helmet with a view

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

New from height safety specialist Tractel is the TR2000 height safety helmet which has been developed to overcome the problem of peaks restricting a worker’s upward view when working at height.

Some safety helmets can also be uncomfortable and won’t hold securely on the head which can prove hazardous in the event of a fall.  The TR2000 provides a solution to both of these issues and has a variety of adjustable extras while being competitively priced.

Made with moulded ABS fibre the helmet is durable but lightweight and satisfies both EN397 and EN50365 standards making it suitable for general industry use as well as electrical installation. It has the option of accessories such as an integrated visor which can come tinted or clear, mounted ear defenders, in ear defenders and head torch mounting clips. The  TR2000  is fully adjustable with a four point chin strap, ratchet adjustment as well as a replaceable sweatband and excellent ventilation.
