Win up to £250k for lone  workers

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

Safeguarding specialists Argyll are celebrating the Commonwealth Games by offering a competition to win up to £250k of free services for 2,014 lone workers.

The competition is open to registered charities and third sector organisations within the housing, social care and community safety sectors. It’s an opportunity to satisfy the lone worker duty of care and relieve other safeguarding budget aspects.

Themed around the numbers in ‘2014’ and inspired by the Commonwealth Games, the award-winning company is keeping the competition open until September, and offers a monthly prize worth up to £2,800 to each lucky winner. The total prize value is £250,000 worth of lone worker services.

Entrants will describe how they will apply their £2,800 budget-saving contribution towards making their community a safer place to live and work.

Argyll’s CEO, Tom Morton, said: “We wanted to reach out to the sector and give those involved the chance to share their experiences with us. We also wanted to give something back, and this seemed like the perfect way to achieve both.”
