Compact and light
With increased awareness of hazards such as silica dust in construction building materials, the construction industry is increasingly specifying P3 level protection, together with the application of Face Fit testing.
This might leave the traditional disposable face piece mask in the history books according to the GVS Group.
Half masks with re-usable P3 filters are said to offer less leakage and a more secure fit than disposable masks. Using a P3 disposable mask is costly compared to a half mask over a few weeks.
As a solution, the GVS Group is promoting its compact and light half mask, the Elipse, which offers curved replaceable P3 High Efficiency HESPA filters, with a design which is said to allow greater visibility and comfort.
The Elipse Mask is available with P3, Gas and combined filters and is manufactured in the UK.
