Free log book
Fire safety company Safelincs has launched a free online fire safety log book which is available at: www.safelincs.co.uk/fire-safety-log-book
The easy-to-use log book will replace a paper-based version with the data stored securely on Safelincs’ servers, and protected in accordance with the data protection act. It automatically sends out reminders for any checks that need to be carried out, and will allow users to print out a copy if they require.
The log book is suitable for organisations with multiple sites and will manage which members of staff are responsible for particular tests, enabling each to have their own account and access level. When a test or inspection is due, the log book will send an email reminder, ensuring it stays up to date.
