Let them entertain you

In most businesses it is necessary to have one or more people appropriately trained so they know how to react in a medical emergency.

While health and safety training has developed a reputation for being a bit dull, BX Medical Training based in Somerset says they are different.
Training Director, Mark Stevens explains, “judging by the feedback we receive, our clients love our training because the delegates don’t fall asleep, play with their pencils or look at the clock, they are simply entertained.”
The company’s website gives a good insight into their philosophy.  Instead of simply being lists of courses it features an amusing “Beanie” character in a variety of precarious situations and contains several videos, some serious but mostly pretty light-hearted, to highlight the risks than can arise every day in a normal place of work, and what the consequences can be.
There are also details of training courses covering First Aid & Medical, Health & Medical Protection, Specific Awareness and Wellbeing.  Everyone attending a BX Medical Training course is rewarded with a framed certificate and a wallet size plastic qualification /Award card plus, if they require any post-course assistance, the company operates a free helpline.
“We also guarantee our clients are happy,” adds Mark, “if they don’t like me, the trainer or the training well offer a full refund!”
