Virtual training centre
Outsource service provider Sierra Support Services Group has committed to training its staff members through a new onsite training centre.
More than 100 engineers and support staff will benefit from a range of bespoke in-house Fire and Safety (FAS) training programmes.
Based in Dunboyne, Co Meath, the centre was designed in 2013 to offer a more practical environment and replicate a range of work at height scenarios, including vertical wall access, pitched roof access and flat roof access.
It features two living rooms to train service technicians in the installation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment, and a purpose built house filled with relevant equipment, including telecommunications devices, boilers and budget controllers.
