Body worn camera system

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

The latest body worn video technology will be on show at this year’s Lone Worker Safety Conference.

VideoBadge is said to be the leading body worn camera system for lone workers, developed and manufactured in the UK by Edesix.

Body Worn Video can help to improve the safety of frontline workers by preventing abuse and attacks but also retains a comprehensive record of the words and actions of everyone at a scene. The recordings provide the context of events and present the full picture, especially useful when taking notes is not possible.

Lone workers use body worn camera footage for evidence of criminal behaviour but also for resolving complaints, reviewing procedures and identifying training needs.

VideoBadge is designed to be easy to operate and robust enough to withstand daily outdoor use.
