High Access Maintenance, the specialist nationwide high level façade maintenance company, has taken delivery of four new Multitel platforms mounted on Nissan Cabstar chassis cabs.

The Multitel platforms purchased from Access Industries are part of an eighteen vehicle purchase programme implemented over the past few months to renew and expand the company’s operating fleet.

They include a Multitel MX 210 – a platform offering over 21m of working height and 9.8m of working outreach with 200 kg in the cage. A Multitel MX 250 platform has also been purchased that offers over 25m of working height from a platform mounted on a 3.5 ton chassis cab, up to 12.2m of working outreach and up to 225kg in the cage. The High Access MX 250 has automatic single button outrigger levelling, 90 degree each way cage rotation, and a water line from the base to the cage for pole cleaning.

Two Multitel MJ 201 models complete the order. A telescopic boom platform with a fly jib where the latter is also telescopic, the MJ 201 offers up to 12.6m of working outreach. It has a 225kg cage capacity and 90 degree each way cage rotation.

Niel Bethell, MD of High Access Maintenance, said of the Multitel platform: “It is a very well made, innovative product with what we believe are very good investment/return ratios. We feel sure that this will only be the first of our orders for Multitel platforms.”
