Minimising slips

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

Kärcher floor cleaning machines feature a number of innovations in a bid to combine maximum safety with optimum cleaning results.

Slips and trips are the most common causes of work accidents accounting for more than 40% of major injuries at work. Wet or food-contaminated floors are responsible for 90% of slips – but Kärcher machines are designed to eliminate this risk and leave all floor surfaces clean, free from grease, and bone-dry in a single pass. With battery versions available on many models, the trip hazard of trailing cables is avoided too.
Kärcher says its advanced Scrubber Driers are so efficient that all walk-behind, step-on and ride-on models feature on the government’s Water Efficient Technologies List, enabling businesses to claim 100% tax relief on Kärcher machine purchases.
