CEO appointment
Develop Training, a leading accredited provider of compliance, technical and safety training in the UK, has appointed Chris Wood as chief executive officer.
Chris joins Develop Training from Incorporatewear, an award-winning corporate clothing supplier to clients such as Marks & Spencer, Virgin Atlantic Airways and Barclays Bank, where he was previously managing director.
“Develop Training is already recognised as the leader in its field and provides training of the highest quality, so it is a privilege to be able to join such and organisation,” Chris says. “The challenge, of course, is to consolidate our market position and develop new opportunities that will allow the business to grow further and flourish. I believe Develop Training is well-placed to achieve this and therefore I am absolutely delighted to be able to fulfil this appointment.”
Tony King, who has until recently held the position of Interim CEO, has now stepped down to become Non-Executive Chairman of the Board.
