Reduce risk of contamination

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

Teknomek has extended and redesigned its tables for labs, waste bins and clearing trolleys, making them suitable for clean rooms and labs.

Materials have been used to meet exacting hygienic standards helping reduce the risk of contamination.  Teknomek often recommends, and uses, 316-grade stainless steel in lab environments which is resistant to corrosive cleaning solutions or harsh chemicals.

The range of tables includes a table with a perforated top which is suitable for environments where air flow is needed to prevent the build-up of contaminants such as dust.   The table as standard comes with stainless steel non-marking rubber based height adjustable feet to adapt to the height of the user and level out on uneven floors or it can be mobile with anti-static zero silicone wheels, important for electronic environments.

Responding to the needs of a clean environment clear of cross contamination, Teknomek’s new waste bin is free from non-shedding material.  The range of bins have all been updated for ease of use so they can be operated by hand, knee or foot. The expanded clearing trolleys can come with 2, 3 or 4 tiers with solid shelving or wire shelves improving air flow. Galley rails can also be added to one or all shelves.
