New certification mark launched

INSPEC International, the
independent provider of PPE testing
and certification services has
launched a quality mark to help endusers
identify safety products that
have passed the most rigorous
testing procedures.

Called the IC Mark, the quality
certificate will only be awarded to
manufacturers of PPE that can
demonstrate compliance with
INSPEC’s testing, documentation
and audit requirements. The scheme
requires products to be type tested
and manufacturers to supply
comprehensive technical
documentation.

A manufacturer’s own quality
systems must also be audited and
compliance with INSPEC’s ongoing
test and inspection plan is
mandatory.
