MHA Lighting has designed a range of multi-award-winning fully-sealed units for a food production setting. Being fully sealed they do not attract dust or insects and are easy to clean.
The fixtures are able to withstand frequent hose downs, are resistant to vibration and shock and are fully constructed for FDA approved materials and finished with food grade coatings.
MHA Lighting installed its TiLite 30s internally and C60s externally at Lakeland Bake – reducing energy consumption by 78% and delivering a saving of more than 60,000 kWh annually. This resulted in lifetime savings of £97,554.80 and a maintenance free life over 14 years, combined with payback period of just 32 months.
Overall light quality was improved and all shadow pockets were eradicated. Also, because Lakeland Bake’s Carbon Emissions were drastically reduced, they qualified for a Carbon Trust interest free loan to minimise the costs of converting to our low energy lighting.
