Preventative maintenance
Master Abrasives has an established reputation for supply to industry of abrasives, surface finishing and related products, in conjunction with a premium range of tools.
Following the recent launch of a website to focus on its tool servicing offer (www.master-toolservices.co.uk), Master has appointed Andy Wright to the position of sales manager for the Master Tool Services department and will focus on the development of its tooling offer. He will also be managing the Master stand at the Safety & Health Expo where Master will be promoting its complete tool servicing and solution package.
The initial introduction of Master Tool Services was a strategic development of the company’s regular tool maintenance department. “Now, we have invested in facilities, equipment and personnel with a view to taking pneumatic tool maintenance to a new level within the industry, offering solutions for industry alongside our abrasives package,” states managing director, Paul Batson.
He continues: “Our goal is to offer a service second to none in the area of preventative maintenance. The principle being to provide a service for companies that assists them in controlling the cost of tool maintenance, it is particularly important where a large number of tools are spread over multiple sites, while actively reducing the risk of excessive and unnecessary vibration levels and associated HAV consequences. This is achieved through a structured and Preventative Maintenance Programme (PMP).”
