Scannell Solutions was created by Dr Mary C. Scannell in 1998 when she left the RPS Group to form her own Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QEHS) consultancy concentrating specifically on management systems.
Mary brought forward her extensive experience of management system implementation on an international scale along with a number of loyal blue chip clients.
Realising how teams struggle with keeping track of the ever-changing targets when it comes to legal requirements, along with risk assessments and the on-going reviews; Mary decided to design and develop a system that would strip back the administrative burden of the job thus freeing up QEHS professionals to focus on driving improvement and excellence.
In 2002 Mary put together an entirely in-house-team to turn her practical industry knowledge into a product. Built from the ground up, the first module of enviroMANAGER, called enviroLAW, was released in 2003 and was soon followed by the RISK and INCIDENT modules.
Today, enviroMANAGER with a full suite of modules and now in its fourth full release, provides a fully integrated enterprise solution designed and built by QEHS Professionals to enable organisations to conform to legal and other requirements, reach sustainability goals and to drive excellence throughout their business.
Key differentiators of enviroMANAGER versus other software solutions are said to be the fully integrated workflow design and the base line of legal content as a key component of the workflows across the various modules.
