Veolia Water Technologies (Veolia) has once again had its approach to health and safety recognised in an awards scheme run by the safety charity, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

Veolia received the prestigious President’s Award, having gained the Society’s Gold Medal for the twelfth consecutive year. The presentation was made at the Award Ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, at the National Exhibition Centre, on July 14, 2015.

David Rawlins, RoSPA’s awards manager, said: “The RoSPA Awards encourage improvement in occupational health and safety management. Organisations that gain recognition for their health and safety management systems, such as Veolia, contribute to raising standards overall and we congratulate them.”

Lyndsey Wicks, health & safety manager for Veolia said: “Health & Safety is our number one priority and we are delighted to receive this award for the twelfth consecutive year. We take a proactive approach to exceed Health & Safety standards and will continue to promote a positive Health & Safety culture within our organisation.”
