Tool tethering campaign

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

The workplace can be a dangerous place. Particularly when you risk becoming an unsuspecting victim of its second biggest killer: dropped objects.

Backed by recent Health Safety Executive figures, the new tool tethering
campaign by NLG (Never Let Go) is set to make an impact on worksites across the UK.

The company’s technical experts are working with industry leaders in the oil and gas, construction, energy and utility
sectors to introduce effective dropped tool policies. NLG has also been developing awareness material from posters to videos, including its ‘Killer on the Loose’ video which can been viewed at neverletgo.uk/killer

By delivering training to all levels
of staff and management, the company has been successfully coordinating significant shifts within an organisation in both workplace
culture and attitude.

Many new products have been developed to meet the growing demands of industry, but as a result, present a
series of confusing choices for the user. NLG says that it has simplified the concept of tool tethering for all and is now able
to provide the best products, complemented by bespoke dropped object policies for organisations of all sizes.
